WWE SummerSlam DVD Debuts At Top Spot, Wrestling Dominates the charts

Major Update On John Cena’s Neck Injury
We’ve just learned that John Cena will now be heading to San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday to have his neck looked at by Dr. Lloyd Youngblood, the surgeon who worked on the major neck surgeries for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Edge, Lita, and others. WWE.com is reporting that Cena will also be flying to Pittsburgh tomorrow to be examined by neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Maroon.
WWE’s website posted some comments from Cena regarding his injury:
“It needs to be dealt with because I lost most of the feeling in my right arm and am having pain in my shoulder….I’m losing 20 percent of my strength per day. If I don’t do anything about it, the injury will end up rupturing and then the surgery will be more difficult. It’s not easy, because surgery never is.”
“Every moment I stay away from the table is another moment something bad can happen. The disk is so bulged out and inflamed that any sudden move could make it worse.â€
John Cena Suffering From Serious Neck Injury
We’re hearing reports that WWE Superstar John Cena is having some serious problems with his neck, which has even caused numbness in one of his arms!
Is serious enough that Cena went to get an MRI done Saturday before Raw at Madison Square Garden. He returned to the arena and said, “Long story short, my neck is (expletive) up badly.”

WWE Diva Layla El Missing Due To Death In Family
Sad news explains why we haven’t been blessed by WWE Diva Layla El’s presence. Layla has not been on television recently due to the death of her mother. A friend of Layla’s wrote on her MySpace page regarding the situation. She wrote, “Her mother passed away unexpectedly and she’s been out of the country dealing with everything.”

Suspicion Surrounds Randy Orton’s Motorcycle Accident
Last week we reported that Randy Orton was involved in a near fatal motorcycle accident that re-broke his collarbone near his home (in High Ridge, Missouri). As the story goes, The Legend Killer Orton claimed his motorcycle struck the curb after a car veered into his lane, causing him to swerve to widen his turn. Where Orton said he was thrown off his motorcycle and continued to roll 300 feet while unconscious. Landed in the ditch, Orton believes he could have died had he not been wearing a helmet. He said his only injury was to his collarbone, which won’t require additional surgery, but he would be out of action for about three months…
Well according to Wrestling Observer, the entire ordeal does seem suspicious. Thus far, the St. Louis media has yet to report anything on the supposed accident. Secondly, the Missouri highway patrol has no record of responding to any accident involving the WWE Superstar, although they would likely only have to do with the highways. (more…)
