SLAM! Wrestling has an article on Ultimate Warrior’s autograph signing on Sunday where he dressed up in his traditional Ultimate Warrior gear. Like we said before, the signing took place at the Marriott hotel in Uniondale, NY, right next to the venue of WWE’s Great American Bash pay-per-view held later that same day.

Bruno Lauer, probably best known as former WWF manager Harvey Wippleman, now working as a road agent, arrived and hung up a cease and desist letter from World Wrestling Entertainment, so even the fans could read it. The WWE felt that The Ultimate Warrior is just using the attention and good name of World Wrestling Entertainment to attract fans to his signing.

The WWE also noted the belt The Ultimate Warrior was advertised to pose with in pictures with fans. The WWE believes that belt is their “intellectual property” and the ultimate Warrior should not be allowed to pose or even market himself posing with it. The Ultimate Warrior posed with a WWF belt, which appears to be the original belt he wore inside the ring in the 1990’s because it’s gold and has yellow leather. Of course, WWE doesn’t have any more rights to the terms “WWF” anymore, not to mention that the belt is his personal property, so he should be free to do whatever he wants with it.

And for anyone who went, The Ultimate Warrior was kind enough to ignore WWE’s cease and desist letter and continued to sign autographs for everyone who came. “The event seemed to have run pretty well as far as a fan’s point of few is concerned. This event will be remembered for a long time by all of the Warrior fans who attended,” the article stated.

Former WWF Champion The Ultimate Warrior made a signing appearance yesterday at the Marriot in Uniondale, Long Island – which, coincidentally, was right next to the Nassau Coliseum prior to yesterday’s WWE Great American Bash PPV.
Former WWF Champion The Ultimate Warrior made a signing appearance yesterday at the Marriot in Uniondale, Long Island – which, coincidentally, was right next to the Nassau Coliseum prior to yesterday’s WWE Great American Bash PPV. The signing drew about 100-150 fans, paying a minimum of $55 per autograph.

Well the Ultimate Warrior’s appearance got the attention of WWE’s legal team, who actually tried to prevent it from happening. WWE sent The Ultimate Warrior legal letters trying to get him to stop the signing, which clearly did not do much. WWE feels that Warrior was trying to capitalize on their publicity by holding the signing next door to their PPV.

The problem seems to be that an unofficial fansite on him, www.warriorcentral.net, advertised him as appearing in full Warrior gear and posing for photos “with his black WWF Championship belt.” Of course, WWE doesn’t own the rights to the letters “WWF” anymore, and the belt is his personal property from his former tenure with the company, so he’s free to do anything he wants with it…supposedly

At the signing, the legal letters WWE sent were posted publicly for all to see.

Yes, we understand, you’re asking yourself who? Think back…WAAAAY back. back to the days when Hulk Hogan wasn’t a daughter-oiling, ex-reality TV show adulterer, and he was in fact, quite the wrestler.

One of the other major names in what was then the WWF wrestling circuit was The Ultimate Warrior. Well, much like everything else nowadays, The Ultimate Warrior decided to revive his 15 minutes of fame, and jumped back in the ring in last night’s Nu Wrestling Evolution show at the Pavello Olimpoico of Badalona, Spain.

Of course, there were other events, and I’m sure they were cool, but let’s get to what we’ve been promised and talk about the Ultimate <strike>Geriatric</strike> Warrior.

As the Ultimate Warrior challenged current champ Orlando Jordan and Warrior, as family man, dedicated to training, surrounded by his family. And of course the evil Orlando, as man without values and dedicated to vices, trained surrounded by many women and champagne. With short and grayish hair, he returned to the ring with a long and colored jacket and the unmistakable mask on his face, colored red and white this time around. He shook the ropes and behind him was an incredible display of pyro. They had strong match, with big moves from Warrior, who even jumped on the ring post and launched himself on Jordan from the third rope with a big splash. After more than 15 minutes, Warrior pinned Jordan to win the NWE heavyweight title.

But as the Ultimate Warrior takes the microphone and declared that he wants to make the title vacant. The belt will be put up for grabs in a big tournament.
So, um, what was the point of returning?

This Week, TMZ featured a piece on the Ultimate Warrior’s recent comments regarding Hulk Hogan’s family drama. Well, The Warrior has uploaded a video to his new website UltimateWarriorTV.com and spent several minutes running down The Hulkster and his family. The Ultimate Warrior, who is shown actually wearing an old Ultimate Warrior mask, Warrior talks about the recent pictures of Hulk oiling up his daughter’s Brooke’s legs and suggested that Hulk Hogan should do the same for his son Nick, who is currently in jail. You can see that video of TMZ’s Warrior piece here.

My favorite line, TMZ Announcer: “My God….He’s going to kill us all.” Yikes Check out the video here.
