Hit the jump for the news!

Luckily, The Big Show will not be forced to relinquish his Unified Tag Team Championship because he is not expected to be kept out action for too long.

According to insider sources, Batista is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning for a torn biceps muscle that he sustained in a match just before his bout with Randy Orton at “Extreme Rules” 2 nights ago. The injury was most likely the reason their match only lasted just over 7 minutes.

Why the WWE decided to go through with the title change despite the injury is still a question, but not doubt the reason will be revealed in a storyline in the near future.

Expect an injury storyline or something similar to be done on RAW to get the title away from Batista, as once he undergoes surgery, he’ll be out of commission for a while.

WWE Superstar Batista is expected to miss several months of ring time as a result of a torn hamstring. The injury began giving him problems during last month’s European tour and has only gotten worse. His injury is serious enough that he is expected to undergo surgery to remedy the problem soon. Randy Orton’s punt kick to his head last week on Raw was the storyline reason for Batista’s disappearance from television.

Batista is expected to be out of action until at least June, with a worse case scenario being August. This means of course, that Batista will be missing WrestleMania 25.

No word yet on whether WWE will acknowledge the legitimate reason for Batista’s absence or if they will just blame the reason on Randy Orton.

Wow, i guess being a World Wrestling Entertainment superstar can a real pain in the neck. Just ask John Cena. According to WWE’s Web site, John Cena underwent a 90-minute procedure Tuesday to remove a large disc fragment that was pressing on his spinal cord. This was the injury that causing numbness in Cena’s right arm.

We are happy to report that the surgery went so well that Cena was able to visit backstage with WWE performers Tuesday night before their Smackdown taping in Pittsburgh.
Now for the bad news: Cena is expected to miss the next 2 to 4 months for recovery, but has been known to be a fast healer. He returned well ahead of schedule from a torn pectoral muscle suffered last October.

WWE is stating that Cena’s injury is due to a “Batista Bomb” delivered by Dave Batista in their Summer Slam match this month. Whether that is true or just part of another story line is unclear, but this much is certain: Cena has joined a long list of WWE grapplers who have required neck surgery.

As always, we wish John Cena a full and speedy recovery!

WWE Diva Torrie Wilson posted a new blog on her very own MySpace page yesterday talking about her recent back surgery. The good news is, everything went well. The surgery did take longer than expected, but reportedly there were no complications.

Below is an excerpt from her blog:

“Well guy’s I made it back from surgery alive!!!! I have to say that there for a minute I was pretty nervous about the whole deal! My surgeon, who was absolutely amazing scared me a bit right befor going under the knife…let’s just say that as I was stepping onto the little surgery table and starting to feel like I had about 10 shots of Petron’ tequila, my sweet little Dr. says to me “So Torrie are you ready to go?!” I looked at him with tears in my eyes ( I was crying all morning because I was so scared!) and said “I guess as ready as I will ever be, just please promise me that I won’t wake up paralyzed because of a mistake.” Ok so what words do you think came out of his mouth after that? …this is what he said….”Honey being paralyzed is the least of your worries with a surgery like this! You have a lot of major organs just on the other side of where I am working and if I just happen to accidently puncture any of them you could bleed to death easily!” so of course I asked him…”well what if that happens? I mean what can you do to help me?” He replied with ” Well, honey I will just have to cut you open all the way across your stomach and work hard to fix the problem and stop the bleeding….but you will end up with a pretty large scar across your stomach!”

Ok so call me crazy but I was inches away from taking off for the parking lot just at that moment! Instead I preferred to pray the hardest I have ever prayed that everything goes fine and dandy! The surgery did take a little longer than usual so of course when I woke up at 8pm the first thing I did after looking at the clock was feel for a cut across my tummy…and luckily everything went great. Needless to say, I am so very thankful that I got such a wonderful Dr. that went above and beyond. I am slowly starting to walk better and feel like my old self again…And just so you guy’s can see how absolutely horrible I can look, I decided to show you a couple pics of me after surgery in the hospital without of stitch of makeup on….now that’s love if you can get past that sight!”

A little while back we reported that WWE Diva and Playboy Playmate Candice Michelle injured her shoulder in her first match back from her previous injury. Well we now have reports that the surgery she underwent to repair her left clavicle (yes, that’s part of her shoulder) has been completely successful.
The WWE Diva underwent this surgery at San Antonio Ambulatory Surgical Center. She gave us all a little update on how she’s doing and what are her plans now that she’s been pulled from the WrestleMania 24 BunnyMania match.

Here’s some of the highlights.

When asked about the injury Candice Michelle responded by saying “It was my fault,” Candice had informed WWE.com only hours before her surgery. “I was getting ready for a dropkick, and I thought it might be more effective if I landed on my back. I landed on my left shoulder and hurt [the clavicle] right then and there.”

The fall not only caused the re-breaking of the Diva’s clavicle, but completely displacing it as well. Unlike 5 months ago when the bone was still aligned, and didn’t require surgery. But now, any activity, wrestling or more, could cause further significant damage.

“The doctor said I could take a non-surgical route, but it would take a minimum of six months doing nothing,” she said. “I’ve been dying already, after having been out for five months. I’m completely ready to get it fixed and be able to make a real comeback to the ring.”

Although she will not be able to participate in the BunnyMania Match at WrestleMania XXIV, Candice will not let her recent operation stop her from attending Wrestlemania. She WILL be there supporting Maria in Orlando, Fla., no matter what.
“For me to miss out on things like WrestleMania, the fire has built up that much more. When I return, it’s going to be a real comeback this time.”

Stay tuned for more updates on Candice Michelle’s condition.
