Update – Candice Michelle Undergoes Shoulder Surgery Successfully!

by admin on Mar.25, 2008, under Wrestling News

WWE Diva and Playboy Playmate Candice Michelle After Shoulder Surgery
A little while back we reported that WWE Diva and Playboy Playmate Candice Michelle injured her shoulder in her first match back from her previous injury. Well we now have reports that the surgery she underwent to repair her left clavicle (yes, that’s part of her shoulder) has been completely successful.
The WWE Diva underwent this surgery at San Antonio Ambulatory Surgical Center. She gave us all a little update on how she’s doing and what are her plans now that she’s been pulled from the WrestleMania 24 BunnyMania match.

Here’s some of the highlights.

When asked about the injury Candice Michelle responded by saying “It was my fault,” Candice had informed WWE.com only hours before her surgery. “I was getting ready for a dropkick, and I thought it might be more effective if I landed on my back. I landed on my left shoulder and hurt [the clavicle] right then and there.”

The fall not only caused the re-breaking of the Diva’s clavicle, but completely displacing it as well. Unlike 5 months ago when the bone was still aligned, and didn’t require surgery. But now, any activity, wrestling or more, could cause further significant damage.

“The doctor said I could take a non-surgical route, but it would take a minimum of six months doing nothing,” she said. “I’ve been dying already, after having been out for five months. I’m completely ready to get it fixed and be able to make a real comeback to the ring.”

Although she will not be able to participate in the BunnyMania Match at WrestleMania XXIV, Candice will not let her recent operation stop her from attending Wrestlemania. She WILL be there supporting Maria in Orlando, Fla., no matter what.
“For me to miss out on things like WrestleMania, the fire has built up that much more. When I return, it’s going to be a real comeback this time.”

Stay tuned for more updates on Candice Michelle’s condition.
