Feast your eyes on the official movie poster has been released for John Cena’s upcoming feature film, “12 Rounds”.

In case you’re not familiar with the WWE superstar’s latest movie project, here’s a quick synopsis:

The story centers on a New Orleans police detective (Cena) whose girlfriend is kidnapped. Harlin will direct the $20 million pic from a script by Daniel Kunka.Production starts Feb. 25 in New Orleans. It’s WWE’s first project to film in the U.S., with previous pics shot in Australia.

The movie is slated to be released this spring.

At the ‘Get Smart’ preview today, The Rock a.k.a “Dwayne Johnson” answered many questions from fans. One such fan was bold enough to ask The Rock whether or not if he will ever return to wrestling, and if he will go with his promise he did at the WWE hall of fame on whether or not he will face John Cena in a match…

All Dwayne Johnson said was that he retired his “The Rock” persona 4 or 5 years ago and that he is done with wrestling and he will not wrestle John Cena. Johnson also stated that he would never make a movie with Stone Cold, but that he respects the Texas Rattlesnake. Finally, he had no clue about the McMahon million dollar give away.

Sounds like Dwayne Johnson is pretty much done with wrestling doesn’t it?

WWE Superstar John Cena is again taking to the big screen in his upcoming WWE movie “12 Rounds.” The movie Will begin filming next month and is schedule to wrap up in May. 12 Rounds is scheduled to be released in theaters four months later in September.

What’s the movie about you ask? Don’t worry, Cena won’t have to stretch his acting skills too far. Instead of being a marine whose girlfriend gets kidnapped like in Cena’s first film, “The Marine.” Cena will be playing a police detective who’s girlfriend gets kidnapped. “Detective Danny Baxter is about to have the worst day of his life when an evil crime lord kidnaps his girlfriend and forces him to go “12 Rounds” around the streets of New Orleans.”
