In what gives our previously published rumor a little more clout, The Baltimore Sun has interviewed Kevin Nash about his future in wrestling, whether it be in TNA or WWE.

According to The Sun, Nash has privately said that he is actually “planning” to go to WWE, wrestle a year or two, and then retire. Kevin Eck did another big interview with Nash a few months ago and was on hand for his appearance at a Maryland Championship Wrestling show last month. Nash’s TNA contract is set to expire before the end of October and it is unknown if WWE is interested in bringing him back as a performer.

On the plus side for Nash, he is good friends with Triple H & Shawn Michaels, and is still reportedly on good terms with Vince McMahon. Even though WWE officials told their employees to stay away from people employed to TNA during WrestleMania weekend, Kevin Nash was invited to watch the event in McMahon’s private luxury suite at the Citrus Bowl.

The speculation within TNA is that Kevin Nash and Christian Cage only have about a 50/50 chance of wanting to re-sign their contracts. And what would they do if they don’t want to wrestle with TNA anymore? Well its dependent on how badly the WWE wants them. That’s right. The WWE.

Kevin Nash (a.k.a. Big Sexy) has hinted to TNA that WWE wants him to return in a short-term role as a bodyguard for Shawn Michaels to counteract Lance Cade. From what he’s said before, Nash’s preference is TNA because of the limited in-ring work he has to do and their schedule is more flexible compared to the full-time schedule he would have to work in the WWE.

Christian Cage received heat when he departed from WWE, but one source said that it’s “water under the bridge” within WWE. The feeling is that Christian will fit in perfect if he returns since his body type will now be accepted because of the lack of muscular physique in WWE due to the drug testing, which wasn’t the case in the past despite his in good in-ring work and promos.

In an interview that was published today in the Daytona News Journal, TNA wrestler Kevin Nash was asked about the differences in working for TNA and WWE. When asked what was it like working for World Wrestling Entertainment, the Big Sexy said, “It’s a miserable existence.”

Nash goes on to praise TNA president Dixie Carter: “Dixie Carter and the people that run the company have a different philosophy. It’s also just the working environment — there’s a lot less pressure. Our boss cares about the guys. She wants us to be healthy. And she feels if it evens the playing field, than nobody has an advantage and guys will live longer.”
