Randy Orton’s Storyline Disorder Possibly Linked To Steroid Use

The WWE explained On Monday night’s Raw, that Randy Orton’s recent rash of violent behavior has been due to the behavioral disorder IED (intermittent explosive disorder). According to a number of medical websites, IED is defined as “a behavioral disorder characterized by extreme expressions of anger, often to the point of uncontrollable rage.” Now, we’re not saying this is the only reason, but many medical websites link the disorder to steroids as IED can be made worse by steroid use due to chemical changes in the person’s brain.
News website Huliq.com posted an article yesterday regarding intermittent explosive disorder and Randy Orton was mentioned. They wrote: “Interestingly, according to recent reports, WWE wrestler Randy Orton has intermittent explosive disorder or IED. He says he’s been diagnosed with it, in fact. But it should be noted that some have posited that IED may be exacerbated by steroid use.”
For the record, Randy Orton has ties to past steroid use.
