According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, We know when to expect the return of The Undertaker!
As we thought, The Undertaker did take some time off to heal some old injuries, but there was also a feeling that his program with Edge needed to be put on the shelf, at least for a little while. They do want to continue it, but it was going to run out of steam without a new angle.

First, let me put out this Spoiler Warning: The following post contains some extra gooey information that most likely will spoil this week’s edition of SmackDown for you. If you are not interested in being spoiled, please stop reading now.
So, on to the good stuff. Edge won a one night tournament last night that will reportedly air on this week’s edition of SmackDown. This means that he will be put up against The Undertaker for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Judgment Day.
As the storyline continues, the World Heavyweight Championship is currently vacant, but SmackDown’s General Manager Vickie Guerrero gave The Undertaker the opportunity to win it back against the winner of the tournament on SmackDown. Edge was victorious in the tournament and will face The Undertaker at Judgment Day for the title.
