Suspicion Surrounds Randy Orton’s Motorcycle Accident

Last week we reported that Randy Orton was involved in a near fatal motorcycle accident that re-broke his collarbone near his home (in High Ridge, Missouri). As the story goes, The Legend Killer Orton claimed his motorcycle struck the curb after a car veered into his lane, causing him to swerve to widen his turn. Where Orton said he was thrown off his motorcycle and continued to roll 300 feet while unconscious. Landed in the ditch, Orton believes he could have died had he not been wearing a helmet. He said his only injury was to his collarbone, which won’t require additional surgery, but he would be out of action for about three months…
Well according to Wrestling Observer, the entire ordeal does seem suspicious. Thus far, the St. Louis media has yet to report anything on the supposed accident. Secondly, the Missouri highway patrol has no record of responding to any accident involving the WWE Superstar, although they would likely only have to do with the highways. (continue reading…)
Randy Orton Involved in Near Fatal Motorcycle Accident

The following news is brought to us from WWE:
Randy Orton was involved in a motorcycle accident near his home Sunday night that could have ended his life were he not wearing a helmet.
Orton, who has only been riding motorcycles for a month, said he was riding around a sharp curve on a steep hill home when an oncoming car veered into his lane causing him to widen his turn.
Orton then struck a curb and was thrown from his bike. He collided with the ground, knocking him unconscious. In his words, Orton “bounced and rolled just under 300 feet, landing in a ditch.”
“When I came to, I knew I had rebroken my collarbone,” said Orton. “When the police and fireman got there, they asked me ‘Where’s the guy who was in the wreck?’ and I said ‘It was me.’”

Vince McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania “Suspended for the Foreseeable Future”

According to the WWE, Vince McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania contest is now “suspended for the foreseeable future” due, of course, to the “tragic accident” that occurred during the final minutes of Monday Night’s RAW. The official post is over on WWE.com.

WrestleMania 24 Fireworks Accident

Apparently there was a Fireworks Accident at the finale of WrestleMania XXIV
After the final Undertaker v.Edge Match, as they lit up the fireworks, when the fireworks were heading from the ceiling of the Citrus Bowl to the WrestleMania stage, they malfunctioned and actually landed on the fans… We were right next to someone who got hit and he got his clothes set on fire!! Tonight’s edition of the Live Audio Wrestling radio show also picked up the story. EMTs were called to the scene to treat any injuries. One witness reported saying that a fireworks line broke and the spinning fireworks landed on some fans in the upper deck.
