RumorMill: Kevin Nash & Christian Cage Possibly Leaving TNA for WWE

The speculation within TNA is that Kevin Nash and Christian Cage only have about a 50/50 chance of wanting to re-sign their contracts. And what would they do if they don’t want to wrestle with TNA anymore? Well its dependent on how badly the WWE wants them. That’s right. The WWE.
Kevin Nash (a.k.a. Big Sexy) has hinted to TNA that WWE wants him to return in a short-term role as a bodyguard for Shawn Michaels to counteract Lance Cade. From what he’s said before, Nash’s preference is TNA because of the limited in-ring work he has to do and their schedule is more flexible compared to the full-time schedule he would have to work in the WWE. WWE Says Goodbye To Mick Foley (a.k.a Mankind) While TNA Teases His Debut

For those of you who have been following wrestling for a while, you will recognize the image above. But for those who wonder why TNA has a crazy barb-wired smiley face on their website, allow us to explain. Back when the WWE was called the WWF, Wrestling legend Mick Foley wrestled under the name Mankind and Cactus Jack. Mankind fought with and against with all the big names: The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and The Rock just to name a few.
Well after playing inside the ring, Mick Foley turned to announcing since Blacklash when he replaced Jonathan Coachman. But all that’s set to change now. As of September 1, 2008 Mick Foley’s contract with WWE has expired and being fed up with the organization, Foley has turned his talents towards the other circus in town, TNA. (continue reading…)

Latest News: WWE Star Shawn Michaels Injured At Last Night’s RAW Taping

The latest news is sad indeed. It being reported that WWE legend Shawn Michaels has suffered a tear in his triceps at tonight’s Raw taping in St. Louis. At least that’s the word going around backstage.
If this is true, Michaels will miss several months of action. With Cena also out with an injury, it’s obvious that WWE’s creative team will have to rewrite a lot of storylines they had planned for the fall.
